Sir Charles Adermann war 1964-66 stellvertretender Vorsitzender der Landespartei.
Peter Slipper wurde am 24. November 2011 zum Sprecher gewählt und trat aus der Liberalen Nationalpartei aus. Er blieb als unabhängiges Mitglied im Parlament. Er trat am 9. Oktober 2012 als Sprecher zurück. Am 11. Mai 2013 schloss er sich der neuen Palmer United Party des Geschäftsmannes Clive Palmer an und wurde ihr erstes Mitglied im Bundesparlament. Doch nur wenige Stunden später wurde seine Mitgliedschaft in der Partei aufgehoben und Slipper kehrte in die Unabhängigkeit zurück.
