Division von Shortland
Die Division of Shortland ist eine australische Wahldivision im Bundesstaat New South Wales. Die Abteilung verfolgt aufmerksam die Pazifikküste. Es handelt sich um eine lange und schmale Form, die nicht mehr als 10 km breit ist. Die westliche Grenze wird vom Macquarie-See gebildet. Die Division erstreckt sich von Charlestown im Norden bis Norah Head im Süden. Sie umfasst die Städte Toukley, Doyalson, Swansea, Belmont und Gateshead.
Die Division wurde nach Leutnant John Shortland benannt. Er war ein früher Entdecker der Region Hunter Valley. Die Division wurde am 11. Mai 1949 eingerichtet, und die erste Wahl war die Bundeswahl 1949. Der Sitz ist derzeit ein sicherer Sitz der Labour Party.
