Die Division of Barton ist eine Bundeswahldivision für das australische Repräsentantenhaus im Bundesstaat New South Wales. Sie wurde 1922 gegründet und ist nach Sir Edmund Barton, dem ersten Premierminister Australiens, benannt.

Dr. H. V. Evatt war der Leiter der ALP 1951-60. Evatt verlor den Sitz in den Jahren 1951 und 1955 beinahe, und 1958 zog er an den sicheren Sitz von Hunter.
Das erste Mitglied für Barton war Frederick McDonald von Labor. Er verschwand nach seiner Niederlage 1925 gegen den Nationalisten Thomas Ley. Es wird nun geglaubt, dass Ley ihn ermorden ließ.
