John E. Tourtellotte

John Everett Tourtellotte (22. Februar 1869 - 1939) war ein prominenter westamerikanischer Architekt. Er ist vor allem für seine Projekte in Idaho bekannt. Zu seinen Werken in Boise gehörten das Idaho State Capitol, die Boise City National Bank, die Carnegie-Bibliothek und zahlreiche andere Gebäude für Schulen, Universitäten, Kirchen und Regierungseinrichtungen.

Sein Unternehmen hieß John E. Tourtellotte & Company. Er arbeitete auch mit einer anderen Firma namens Tourtellotte and Hummel mit Sitz in Boise zusammen. Die Arbeiten dieser Firmen wurden 1982 in einer Studie erfasst, und viele der Gebäude wurden sofort oder später in das Nationale Register historischer Stätten aufgenommen.
